Thank you so much for all the wonderful support and generosity shown for the charity events held at Point of Ayr during the 2011 season. We have had our best year to date raising an astonishing £2,007.25p! Give yourselves a huge pat on the back! On Sunday night we raised an unbelievable amount of £789-25 in aid of Help for Heroes!!! We would like to say a very big and heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. This fantastic event would not have been possible without your incredible generosity and support.

Point of Ayr Holiday Park is extremely proud to be hosting a charity night in aid of Help for Heroes. On the night we will be holding numerous fundraising activities which include a Grand Raffle with some fantastic prizes! Please come along and help us support this very worthy cause on Sunday the 28th of August from 7pm.

Disco fever hit us all again this week at Point of Ayr where music, games and good times where enjoyed by everyone! The musical bumps competition was a very close one to call but was eventually won by Grace! And our dance competition winners are Paige(1st), Liam(2nd) and Tegan(3rd)! Well done everyone!

The first of our summer holiday children's discos was a huge hit with children and adults showing off their Cha Cha Slide! The lucky winners of our dance competition are the beautiful and very talented Madison(1st), Isabelle(2nd) and Abbey(3rd). Well done girls!!!

Long running Point of Ayr holiday home owners John and Jimmy were out fishing for Sea Bass half a mile off the Prestatyn coastline, when they suddenly realized that they were being watched! A cheeky little seal was hoping for an easy lunch!

Grand total announcement!!! We would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us and donated to our 10k Race for Life event at Tatton Park on the 19th of June. On final count Anna and Rosanna along with their good friends Kath and Sharon raised an astonishing £476! With £268 of that grand total coming from all our wonderful friends at Point of Ayr! Thank you so much for your generosity in sponsoring us in such a worthy cause.

It's Wimbledon finals weekend and here at Point of Ayr we definitely have tennis fever! To celebrate the occasion we will be serving up delicious strawberries and cream accompanied by a refreshing glass of Pimms 'Deuce' all weekend in our on site bar The Talbot! So come and watch the action with us and partake in some traditional tennis treats!

We would like to say a big, big thank you to everyone who supported and sponsored us in the Race for Life 10k event at Tatton Park for Cancer Research UK. So far we have raised in excess of £300 but sponsor money is still being collected so watch this space for a grand total announcement! It is a truly worthwhile and fantastic cause, we had a fabulous day and we are extremely proud to have taken part.

Let's hear it for the girls! Anna and Rosanna will be off to Tatton Park on Sunday the 19th of June to take part in the 10k Race for Life event at 10:30am. There is still time to sponsor us so please do not hesitate in contacting reception to find out how. We would also welcome any supporters or cheerleaders at the event. We appreciate that it's a bit early for a Sunday but if you are an early bird or you are in the area on the day come along and cheer us on!

The two events held over the Whit holiday were a huge hit! The children loved Melanie and Angelo's circus skills workshop and really got stuck into the various activities (even a few adults showed off their juggling talents!). The birds of prey experience provided by Islwyn and Lowri from Pen-Y-Bryn Falconry was a fantastic day also. Children and adults alike took part in helping to showcase these magnificent birds in action. Feel free to visit our gallery and view some pictures of the fun and frolics had at our fantastic events!

The Royal Wedding Party at The Talbot Bar was fit for a King. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback we have received from all our customers. The Talbot was decorated from head to toe, the buffet and bubbly was a huge hit, the children enjoyed their flags and bubbles and the happy couple looked lovely. Lance the wedding singer serenaded us with classic love songs in the afternoon and Cathy McCann had everyone shouting for more in the evening. The wedding cake raffle raised a fantastic £103 for Hope House Hospice, so a warm thanks to everyone who bought tickets and congratulations to the winners. A real Royal Talbot Success!

Our preparations are all on track for the Royal Wedding celebrations this coming Friday, The Talbot Bar has been decorated fabulously for the occasion by our newest member of staff Hayley, who along with Brenda and Niki are looking forward to raising a glass of bubbly with you to congratulate the happy couple. There will be refreshments and entertainment in the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there, everyone welcome.

Did you spot the famous Point of Ayr lighthouse situated on our beautiful beach here at Talacre in a recent television advertising campaign?. A big named brand has featured our popular beach, along with a few other locations in North Wales, in their landmark anniversary advert. The advert features a lovely Old English sheepdog running along the shoreline with the famous Point of Ayr lighthouse in the background. Here at Point of Ayr Holiday Park, we are incredibly proud to have had our famous beach chosen to be a scene in such a high profile advert. It further proves what a jewel in the North Wales crown Talacre truly is and how lucky our park is to be situated right next to this popular and iconic beach.

A new addition to further improve security at Point of Ayr Holiday Park has arrived the barrier system has been replaced and upgraded to ensure private and authorised vehicular access only. This will further maintain our high standards of security for our holiday home owners.
